I’ve always been a sensitive, introspective person with a deep inner world. Writing has always come naturally to me and I have all these reflections that I would like to express. This blog is my creative outlet. My source of self-expression.

Growing up my home life was traumatic and dysfunctional, resulting in a shy, anxious and insecure person who was sensitive to the comments of others and never felt comfortable reaching to others for help. I would keep things to myself, self isolate and figure shit out on my own. I became a resilient, resourceful, independent, strong and intelligent woman because of it. But ofcourse, there are plenty of negative affects that I wouldn’t realize until early adulthood.

After years of feeling powerless and having a victim mindset, I decided it’s up to me to change my reality. I don’t have to do it all alone and it’s honorable to be vulnerable. I am not going to let the affects of my childhood trauma bring me down. I’m breaking generational trauma and becoming a better version of myself.
